The American Bobtail is a crossover between a seal-point Siamese along with a domesticated tabby. Along with the shortened tail is from a genetic mutation similar to the one located from the Manx cat breed. Interesting fact: Urban legends have suggested a theory that the American Bobtail is actually the crossing between a national tabby and a wild bobcat.
